Quickdraw is operated by Kurt Wissman LLC ("we", "us"). It is a free online game at quickdrawduels.com. This policy explains what we collect when you play, why, and the choices you have.
Playing as a guest
You can play every mode without an account. Guests are not asked for any personal information, and nothing about a guest's games is saved by us. Your browser remembers that you chose to play as a guest so you are not asked again.
What we collect when you sign in
- Email address. Used to sign you in with a one-time code, or provided by Google if you choose "Continue with Google" (along with your Google name and profile picture, which we do not display).
- Player name you choose.
- Winning shot times: for each round you win with a head shot, how many milliseconds it took after DRAW!, whether it was a duel or against the bot, the bot difficulty, and when it happened.
What other players see
- Your player name, your best time, and how many winning shots you have recorded appear on the public leaderboard.
- In a duel, your opponent sees your player name. Guests appear as "OPP".
How duels connect
Duels connect your device directly to your opponent's device (peer to peer). To set up that connection, a connection service (PeerJS) and Google's connection-helper servers briefly handle your IP address and basic network information, and your opponent's device receives your IP address, as with any direct connection. Your room code is only used to find each other. We do not store any of this.
How we use it
- To sign you in and keep your best times across devices.
- To show the leaderboard and your personal bests.
- To keep player names within our rules and keep the leaderboard fair.
We do not sell your personal information, and Quickdraw does not show advertising or use advertising or analytics trackers.
Services we rely on
- Supabase: accounts and the game database.
- Resend: sends sign-in code emails.
- Google: optional Google sign-in, and servers that help duel connections.
- PeerJS: introduces the two devices in a duel.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Google Fonts, jsDelivr and unpkg: deliver the game's font and code libraries. Like any website, they receive your IP address when your browser loads them.
These providers process data on our behalf to run the game, and may store it in the United States.
Your choices
You can sign out at any time and keep playing as a guest. To delete your account and its saved times, or to ask what data we hold about you, email wfp.wissman@gmail.com from the address on your account.
Children
Quickdraw is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Material changes will be noted in the game.
